Online college students that have successfully completed educational requirements of a paralegal study program may opt to take and pass an exam to become a Certified Legal Assistant through the NALA (National Association of Legal Assistants); those who go onto attaining their bachelor’s degree may also sit for and pass the National Federation of Paralegal Associations exam to be designated as a Registered Paralegal (RP).
