Home Business Systems: A Frightening Thought

Written by admin on May 18th, 2011

When I think of a system, I think of my homes heating and cooling system, or the plumbing system, or the school system, or even the governmental system. All these systems are complicated to set up and maintain, they are extremely frustrating at times. Systems have a way of emptying your wallet when they break down. One single part of the system malfunctioning can lead to the entire system shutting down. I get frightened when I hear someone spouting off about a home business system. This article encourages you to seek your unique home business opportunity and avoid home business systems.

Bad idea

There are a lot of ways to earn a living or make extra money from home. Rarely does it require a system. The best businesses start with an idea. They aren’t started by buying into an entire system. I had a hard enough time following the directions for my latest IKEA purchase let alone when I tried to follow the directions for an entire home business system. What a mistake.

Why a system

Think about it. Wouldn’t it be much easier and less frightening to start a home business which you don’t have to implement and maintain a complicated system? Wouldn’t it be nice to find a home business opportunity that you could focus just on a few things, become good at them and make a profit? In this way you could master one money making aspect of your business and then learn and add additional money making skills.

Looking for opportunities not systems

Might I suggest that you first figure out why you want to be in a home business? After that look for real opportunities. Based on my experience of having failed at over five business systems before coming to my senses, defining why I wanted to be in business and what I wanted to get out of my business, and then searching for the right opportunity for me; I suggest that you do the avoid business systems. When I chose to start my own business instead of following someone else’s system I became successful.
